Early Symptoms of MesotheliomaLike any other forms of diseases, there must be symptoms that herald the existence and occurrence of mesothelioma. Indeed, there are. However, unlike usual diseases and forms of cancers, there are no early symptoms.
On the common occurrence, mesothelioma victims always feel and observe the symptoms only when the disease is already at its terminal stage or phase. It is not technically correct to describe the initial symptoms of the disease as early symptoms. That is because in the case of mesothelioma, there are no early stages. When mesothelioma is diagnosed, there is not cure and the situation would never be reversed, altered or cured.
Mesothelioma is an advanced form of cancer. It is a disease that would surely bring the patient or victim to his or her death bed within the span of just a few months or luckily, up to about two to four years. You know how malignant cancer cells are. Even if they are taken out of the body, they already made damages and are already spread in other parts of the human systems.
To answer queries about symptoms of asbestos inhalation, unfortunately, there is also none. People are always paranoid about the identified causes of diseases. In the case of mesothelioma, because the disease is identified surely as a deadly one, people are paranoid and preventive. They want to make sure they will never be affected in the future.
But because the earliest symptoms of mesothelioma would not occur until after 20 years to 50 years after the inhalation process, there is no indication that a person has accumulated asbestos fibers in the mesothelium or sacs around the internal organs.
If you have unwillingly and unknowingly inhaled asbestos, for sure, you can never tell the difference. You would not feel any change in your body, nor any alteration or difference made to basic breathing activities. You would not feel sick nor would you start to drastically and unexplainably lose weight.
And apparently, that is what makes mesothelioma really dangerous and scary. Once diagnosed, a person would only live a few more months or years. The best preventive measure, however, is to make sure there is no asbestos exposure or inhalation. Make sure your house or office space is free from asbestos. There are many safer alternatives to asbestos that act as insulators and heat resistant. And it is the responsibility of any company not to help spread the disease.
